Business Advice:
Start-Up and Development

Starting and growing a social enterprise or creating new revenue streams to support charitable objects comes with additional challenges to those faced by for-profit businesses. We use our experience in starting and operating social enterprises and trading charities to help new social enterprises to get started, guiding established ones through expansion and change and helping charities navigate governance and skills issues as they seek to develop new revenue models. Each person’s solution is unique to them and our job is to listen hard and help them find it and then to enable you to make it happen.

“During the time we worked alongside of Colin, I was very appreciative with the time, patience and knowledge Colin provided me and my business. We had full support and many, many zoom meetings where he guided us on our business plan and how to develop this in the best way possible.”

“I attended a 6 week Business Management course co-ordinated by Mr Colin Crooks in 2016. Attending this course gave me a better understanding, more confidence and knowledge. Colin was patient in explaining things to me, he stimulated my interest and I was really motivated in undertaking the project. He is a dedicated person, committed, trustworthy and always ready to help. He displayed a high level of professionalism.”
